This will reduce the total calories in your meal without reducing the amount of food you eat. BUT remember to use a normal- or small-size plate — not a platter. Help with weight loss/Diet

I’m having a horrible time loosing weight. I go to the gym every day, eat well and generally stay very active during the day. I eat very little bread, fruits, vegetables, fish and chicken. I’m 5’8 and 172 lbs. My friends suggested to fast for three days to kick start my metabolism then eat small meals after the fast is over. Is this a good suggestion? Can anyone provide me some better solutions?
