Juicing is great for health, but weight loss?

Honestly, juicing AND eating is not going to lead to weight loss... watch the type of people going into Jamba Juice for example - those smoothies are extremely caloric! if you want to replace meals with juices, it's a good way to cut calories while adding nutrients, but if you're thinking of supplementing your current diet with some juice, all you're going to do is GAIN weight.
my tips? stick with veggies, and sweeten with fruit. keep it simple and within the same colors. for example - beet, carrot and apple go very well together. so does apple, carrot, ginger... the more you add, the more you stray away from good taste

I actually have answers to both of your questions!
1. This is a sure fire method for quick weight loss (please, if someone intends to lecture me on health, safety, etc., please refrain and don't read on!...) that being said: go on a liquid diet for 2 days (plan these days so that you can mostly relax and lay low -- don't work out). In place of your 3 meals, drink 16 oz. of fruit/veg juice, i.e. tomato, cucumber melon, veggie, whatever you like (best to home blend it). In between, drink hot glasses of water with lemon, this aids with cleansing your system (and whetting your appetite)

First: figure 1-2# per week fat loss

100# is a long-term project, something that will likely take you 1-2 years to complete. That said, you'll start looking and feeling far better well before you get there.
What's your current weight? This is useful for estimating your current caloric needs.
Best things you can do for fat loss:
- Fix your diet. Whole, unprocessed, natural foods. NO refined carbs: sugar, HFCS, white flour / rice / potatoes, fruit juice, sodas (regular or diet), and limited starchy vegetables. Get ample protein (meat, chicken, turkey, fish, legumes), healthy fats (especially Omega-3), and green/colored leafy vegetables
