Also, eat a baked potato with 1 tbsp. of butter on it for dinner. Eat cabbage soup for the 3rd. day and any fruits and vegetables from the list above. Consume cabbage soup on the 4th. day. Eat up to 8 bananas and make sure to drink 2 glasses of skim milk. Eat cabbage soup on the 5th. day along with a 20 oz. (566 g) cut of beef, chicken or fish. Also, eat 6 fresh tomatoes and drink 8 glasses of water. Consume cabbage soup on the 6th. day, along with an unlimited amount of vegetables and up to 3 beef steaks. Eat cabbage soup on the 7th. day, along with unsweetened fruit juice, 2 cups (473 ml) of brown rice and an unlimited amount of fresh vegetables.
  • The recipe for the cabbage soup varies; however, the basic recipe includes cabbage, low calorie vegetables such as tomatoes and onions. Onion soup mix is used to add flavor along with bouillon and tomato.

History: In spring 07 I had reached my max weight of ~270. I put myself on a diet for a couple weeks -- only fruits and vegetables, no fats. But unlike previous efforts I barely lost any weight. Discouraged, I began eating more normally, but started a food journal. After a couple weeks I started losing a lot of weight fast, 3-5 lbs a week until I lost 30 lbs.
I began to exercise after having lost most of the 30 lbs, hiking an 1-1.5 hours a day in the hills for 4-5 days a week for at least a couple months but the weight loss stopped, stuck at ~240. I stopped exercising because of the loss of light and the discouragment
