Vegetable soup Diet UK
Used different ingredients. To be honest I tweaked this beyond all recognition! I used this recipe as the base, but as I grow my own veg I just used what was available from the garden: I used red cabbage, leeks, borlotti beans, chard, onions & carrots. I also used VICTORIAQUINN2146's suggestion of the tinned tomatoes as well as SUZPEM's suggestion of thyme, oregano, garlic & extra virgin olive oil. Oh and I also added a dash of Tabasco and a couple of shakes of Worcester Sauce. The net result was delicious, if nothing like the original!! (Sorry PEGW). I do think that it could do with some extra depth however, perhaps a beef stock cube or maybe a squeeze of tomato puree if you wanted to keep it vegetarian. - 09 Oct 2009

Msg, is one ingredient. If you are adding sugar to an animal fatty, unfresh diet with proccessed nitrate rubbish in it all the time and not drinking green tea or excersizing every morning, as is common in Japan,
then maybe the sugar, after years, will be the hting that finnaly tips the chemical balance on your body.

Make very sure you didnt have the flu....2006-03-01 19:14:31 by -----------------------
Flu hits suddenly and hard, you get fever, cough, sometimes vomiting, plus chills which can merge into body aches.
If you are running a fever, dont let it go for more than three days. Fevers can slice muscle mass right off of you--your body will actually burn muscle tissue for energy at a much higher rate than fat tissue. If you have a fever for more than three days get checked for pneumonia.
Miso soup is terrific when recoverying from a GI illness. Its a nice source of salt and good bacteria. Make miso soup by bringing water to a boil, then add 1 to 2 teaspoons of miso paste for every cup of water
