Juicing for Weight Loss

If you already know what you're doing when it comes to juicing for weight loss, you can scroll down to get to the juicing recipes, but if you're a little lost, you should continue reading.

A lot of you have been sending in emails asking how to juice for weight loss.

  • Do I have to do a juice fast?
  • Do I just add juice to my diet?
  • How much do I drink per day?
  • Should I work out too?

Well,I didn't want to give bad advice,so after a lot of research and talking to real people who have lost weight by juicing,I found out that a lot of these people didn't have those answers when they first started either and were pretty clueless,so they decided to not go at it alone and used a program from FitLife calledthat would help answer any questions they had, guide and motivate them every step of the way.

Naturally,I wanted to talk with more people who have used it to make sure it worked before I could recommend it. So,here's a few of their juicing testimonials with some before/afters:

Jaclyn Beach - 106 Pounds Down
"I started transforming my life in July of 2012. I had a lot of things I had against me,such as high cholesterol and a BMI of 52. I reached out to Drew Canole and he taught me about FitLife. I was very scared at first- I felt very alone in my journey until he informed me about Juice Up Your Life. I told my husband about this group of juicers- out to achieve very similar goals. So I joined. I was welcomed into this community with open arms.Any questions I had- were answered with the help of this community and FitLife. My husband saw how amazing everyone was and saw my pants falling from my waist and he too is now juicing. To this date we're both down 100+ lbs. You can do anything you put your mind too,but it is great to have a ton of people behind you...always there to lift you up when you're reaching for goals. I love FitLife- I love Juice Up Your Life. They're like family to me now. I can't imagine doing this without them."

Crystal
"I lost 30 pounds in 5 months. It has also been a huge impact on my muscle gain. My post workout juices have been key to my 10 pound muscle gain I have sustained within the year. Don’t be afraid of who you are! The world needs you. The only thing to fear is fear it self. To be successful with juicing does not mean you have to plunge into a 5 days juice fast. Start slow, get educated and HAVE FUN!!!"

Megan Ralph - 100 Pounds Down & Feeling Confident
"Working with Drew and the Fitlife team as been amazing! Not only do I feel like I have support and people TRULY have my back, but I feel like my goals are possible in a way they have never been before! I've been struggling back and forth for years with weight, but with the juice up your life system I have achieved goals in weeks that I've been working on for years!!! It's amazing and freeing! My confidence is soaring and people are taking note!"

As exemplified in "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead"

Robert Lustig (the anti-sugar guy) comments in this interview that he was extremely underwhelmed.
My own views: The movie is a 90 minute ad for a very expensive juicer.
There's some truth and validity behind the concept, but this isn't based on very sound grounding. The protagonist starts off really well when he says "there are two kinds of nutrients your body can recognize", falters a bit with "macronutrients and micronutrients", and falls completely flat when he defines "macros" as basically "meat", and micros as basically "vegetables".
The truth: yes, your body recognizes macros and micros
