Alternative ways to lower BGL2004-10-27 19:36:48 by FaithinDC
I'm a type 2 non-insulin dependent diabetic, since 1996. For a while I was on Glucophage, but through diet and exercise I was able to go off all medication and I haven't been on any since 1999. I take 500mg of L-Glutamine, 10mg Vanadyl Sulfate, and 1/4 tsp of cinnamon daily. These are vitamen supplements and perfectly safe. I also watch my carbs (I know that nasty carb stuff) and eat lots of vegetables and fruits, and try to stay away from fruit juice as the body metabolizes the whole fruit much better and the juice just gives you a sugar high. Try these things and your BGL should regulate itself in about a week or two
