The 3-Day Fruit Cleanse Diet, also known as the Fruit Flush 3-Day Detox Diet, is a diet program created by Jay Robb, a nutritionist, fitness trainer and entrepreneur. The diet is intended as a detoxification program to remove harmful materials from the body to increase stamina, as well as overall health.

Jay Robb started Jay Robb Enterprises, Inc. in 1988, but did not begin marketing the Fruit Flush 3-Day Detox until 2005, when he published a book under the same name. Before developing the Fruit Flush diet, Robb worked as a nutritionist and fitness trainer for more than 20 years. In addition to the Fruit Flush 3-Day Detox program, Robb also developed the Fruit Flush Extreme 7-Day Detox following the same principles of the original program over a longer period of time.

Although the Fruit Flush does require the subject to consume fruit, the diet also includes vegetables and protein shakes. Robb claims that his Fruit Flush 3-Day Detox is a unique program because it provides a balance of fruits, vegetables and protein that allow the subject to lose weight while maintaining muscle mass and removing toxins from the body. The Fruit Flush differs from other detoxification diets because most do not contain a source of protein.

The first day, the Fruit Flush diet suggests drinking a protein shake with no sweeteners or artificial colors every two hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On his website, Robb sells a protein powder that can be used with the diet. At 6:00 PM, the diet calls for 3 to 6 cups of salad with only raw vegetables and 3 to 6 ounces of lean chicken with 1 tbsp of raw vegetable salad, 3 to 6 oz of lean chicken and 1 tbsp of olive oil on top. The second and third day, the diet is the same and includes a variety of fruits, including cantaloupe, strawberries, banana, apples and mango eaten throughout the day. At 6:00 PM, the subject should eat 3 to 6 cups of salad made of raw vegetables and half an avocado and drink one protein shake.

So I have never done this one before, but the long and short is I am on a three day departure from my typical diet.
Day 1 is 5 protein shakes, a small dinner (chicken and lost of salad) and lost of water
Day 2 is 5 servings of fruit, 5 protein shakes, small dinner (see above) and lost of water.
Day 3 is the same as day 2.
Has anyone ever tried this before? I got it from Jay Robb.

My suggestions

This assumes an otherwise health person. Use at your own risk. Here are my favorites.
Creatine - 5 to 20g daily (split dosage pre and post; drink H2O!)
Glutamine - 20-60g daily (pre and post workout)
BCAAs - .44g per kg of bodyweight (pre workout and during workout)
Beta Alanine - 2-6 g daily (split dosage pre and post)
Magnesium - 200-400 mg daily (don't get Mg Oxide; buy Mg Citrate)
Vitamin C - 5g to 10g daily dependent upon tolerance
Fish Oil - max 9 g daily (split dosage throughout day with meals)
Jay Robb's or Jarrow's unflavored whey protein - use as needed (very clean protein powder without artificial crap thrown in; sweeten with organic stevia and/or organic fruit)
On off days, spread dosages through the day
